How it is sent
Korean Morse code sends individual consonants and vowels (jamo), not whole syllables. "한" is three codes: ㅎ, ㅏ, ㄴ.
Double consonants such as ㄲ, ㄸ, ㅃ, ㅆ, ㅉ are sent as the same consonant twice; combined final consonants are split into their parts.
Compound vowels like ㅘ, ㅝ, ㅢ are split into ㅗ+ㅏ, ㅜ+ㅓ, ㅡ+ㅣ. ㅐ and ㅔ have codes of their own.
The same dot-dash patterns mean different things than in International Morse, so operators agree on Korean mode before sending.
